This is a simple painting appreciating the nature of the waterfalls. We get a sense of balance from this painting because of the value. It uses three dimension of shade from light, dark and equal shade. The way that they all fade in or blend in with each other shows their equal relation with the other. The balance itself speaks of this too as the different parts relate and complement each other. Unity is depicted too as is shows the sky blend into the trees that blend with the water that blends with the rocks. It is all even and neither element is discriminated with fine borders or lines. The gradation speaks for itself with the blending of light to dark to light to dark from a top to bottom point of view.
We see more harmony with nature as the elements of dark and light are contrasted against each other and at the same time complementing each other too. This is an overall symbol of the balance of nature with its different elements.
